Principle and Method of Detecting Fractured Zones of Soft Rock Roadway by Seismic Technology

Abstract：One of the main reasons for the difficult support in soft rock roadway is that the engineering condi-tions and structure of surrounding rock are indefinite and the supported object is uncertain. Aiming at thisproblem, the feasibility of detecting fractured zones of weak roadway by seismic exploration was discussed.By taking the main haulage roadway of Xiandewang Coal Mine as an example, the structures of surroundingrock of the main roadway were fully detected. An accurate result of stability of soft rock mass has beenachieved, providing a direct geological basis for the determination of support forms and parameters of a road-way.
