Money Management Skills Training for Children with Intellectual Disabilities in Other Countries (review)

Abstract:Many special educators have focused on money management skills as an important educational outcome for children with in-tellectual disabilities for transition to adult living. Existing Western resources analyzed the money computation skill and purchasing skill for children with intellectual disabilities, and described aids and instructional strategies to teach money management skills for individual with in-tellectual disabilities. Future studies may be focused on early education, objects targeted, developing more aids, for more money manage-ment skills, and investigating instructional strategies.
