Abstract：Stroke rehabilitation research has shifted its focus from empiric evidence to biological targets. This article reviewed the plas-ticity of the brain, spinal cord and skeletal muscle, and suggested rehabilitation techniques targeting central nervous system and skeletal mus-cle.
