Abstract：This paper briefly introduced the characteristics, some kinds of equipment, and the advantages of virtual reality technology in rehabilitation, especially in upper limb function rehabilitation, and its mechanism of motor function recovery after stroke. Some assess-ment tools commonly used for motor function were summarized.
