Interpretation of European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2025 Newborn Resuscitation and Support of Transition of Infants at Birth

Abstract：In October 2025,the European Resuscitation Council(ERC)released the European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2025.The section on newborn resuscitation and support of transition of infants at birth provides a systematic support approach for neonates,covering preparation before delivery,training of healthcare staff,thermal management,umbilical cord handling,assessment and intervention of vital signs,establishment of emergency vascular access,management in resource-limited and out-of-hospital settings,communication skills with parents,and principles for temporarily discontinuing or terminating resuscitation.This article offers an interpretation of the updated guideline content for reference.
