Abstract:Vascular endothelial dysfunction plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of sepsis.During sepsis, the vascular endothelium undergoes phenotypic and functional changes such as pro-adhesion,pro-inflammation and pro-coagulation,which are interconnected and mutually regulatory. This article provides an overview of the mechanisms and characteristics of sepsis-related vascular endothelial dysfunction, and reviews of both domestic and international research progress on endothelial therapy. The aim is to offer intervention strategies for improving the prognosis of sepsis patients by targeting vascular endothelial dysfunction in sepsis.
