Research on the use of unmanned aerial vehicle for the evacuation of injured personnel at sea

Abstract：Maritime casualty evacuation has its unique application characteristics and environmental requirements,mainly reflected in the wide coverage of maritime combat area,slow movement at sea,harsh and complex natural environment conditions at sea,etc.These characteristics put forward higher requirements for unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV)engaged in maritime combat missions.In this paper,the development status of maritime UAV,the characteristics of maritime casualty evacuation and the advantages of UAV in maritime casualty evacuation were analyzed,and the important role and existing problems of maritime UAV in casualty evacuation were deeply discussed.It is hoped to provide theoretical support for the future development of maritime UAV and the research of maritime wounded evacuation.
