Abstract：With the rapid development of 5G technology,its application in the field of emergency rescue has gradually attracted attention.The high speed,low latency and wide connection features of 5G technology provide new opportunities for the optimization of the emergency rescue system.This article reviews the research progress of the modernization construction of the emergency rescue system in the context of 5G in recent years,covering the aspects such as the application background of 5G,policy support and promotion under the background of 5G,talent team building,information platform expansion,optimization of rescue processes,improvement of equipment performance,precise allocation of resources,comprehensive information sharing,coordinated linkage mechanism,and education and training on popular science of public first aid knowledge in China.It also elaborates on the existing problems and challenges in the construction of the emergency rescue system under the background of 5G,and looks forward to the future development,with the aim of providing references for the construction and development of the emergency rescue system in China.
