Research progress on emergency referral mode for acute ischemic stroke

Abstract：Stroke is one of the major diseases that cause death and disability in humans,and is the leading cause of death among adults in China.Early reperfusion therapy is an important means to reduce acute ischemic stroke(AIS).The early treatment of stroke is highly time-dependent.In practical work,a large number of patients can not receive timely diagnosis and treatment due to various factors,resulting in poor therapeutic effects,especially for the patients with large vessel occlusion(LVO),they need to be transferred to stroke centers that can provide endovascular treatment(EVT).There are currently multiple referral modes,and different referral modes may affect the prognosis of patients.This article reviews the research progress on emergency referral modes for AIS.
