Research progress of biological therapy in the treatment of severe asthma

Abstract：Severe asthma is the type of asthma which can be controlled with the treatment of grade 4 or grade 5 asthma medication or appears "uncontrolled" even with the above treatment.At present,biological therapy provides a new treatment method for the patients with severe asthma.This paper will review the biological agents for the treatment of severe asthma and explain the mechanism of action,efficacy and safety of existing biologics.On this basis,the development direction of biological therapy was prospected.
