Abstract:Acute lung injury(ALI)/acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)is a clinically critical syndrome with high morbidity and mortality. In recent years, numerous studies have found that cellular autophagy is closely related to ALI/ARDS lung injury.Alveolar macrophage autophagy has an important regulatory role in the course of ALI/ARDS and can effectively intervene in the course of ALI/ARDS.Combined with literature studies, alveolar macrophage autophagy regulation is found to be an important target for alleviating ALI/ARDS,which can effectively reduce lung injury. In this paper,we review the research progress of dual-targeted regulation of alveolar macrophage autophagy in ALI/ARDS with the aim of providing new research ideas and directions for the clinical treatment of ALI/ARDS in the future.
