Abstract:Neonatal shock is one of the main reasons of hospitalization and death in neonatal intensive care units.According to the hemodynamic classification, shock is divided into four different types, and different causes of shock may occur simultaneously and switch to each other in the same patient. Therefore, rapid identification of shock types is crucial for shock treatment.Bedside ultrasound technology,as a visual dynamic examination and evaluation method for various critical care units,is essential in the field of adult intensive care.In recent years, the application of critical ultrasound technology in neonatal pediatrics has become increasingly widespread.Point-of-care ultrasound(POCUS)technology can conduct real-time dynamic evaluation of oxygen delivery organs(heart and lung),clarifying the pathophysiological mechanisms of shock. This article combines with the current development status of bedside ultrasound at home and abroad and the characteristics of neonatal shock, and elaborates on the application value of critical care ultrasound in neonatal shock and treatment.
