Abstract:Objective To study the expression and clinical significance of serum miR-214 in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI).Methods There were 73 AMI patients,49 unstable angina (UA) patients and 29 healthy people being chosen in this study from January 2016 to March 2018 in our hospital. The expression of serum miR-214 of the three groups were contrasted, and the correlation between serum miR-214 of elderly AMI patients and AST,LDH,CK-MB,cTnI were analyzed by Pearson analysis. Results The relative expression levels of miR-214 in aged AMI patients,UA patients and healthy subjects were 14.16 ±4.13,4.51 ± 2.02 and 2.07 ± 0.99.There were positively correlated between the expression of miR-214 in serum of AMI and AST (r =0.429,P <0.05),CK-MB (r =0.844,P <0.05),cTnI (r =0.779,P <0.05),LDH (r =0.562,P <0.05).Conclusion miR-214 is highly expressed in serum of elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction, and the high expression may be associated with myocardial damage or necrosis.
