Abstract：First responders are recommended as a supplement to the Emergency Medical Services,which can effectively shorten response times and improve survival in patients with OHCA.The author reviewed the concept,classification,requirement,role and training of first responder,as well as the research status of first responder system and its enlightenment for China.
