Abstract:The components of wasp venom are varied .Due to warms of wasp stings , a large amount of wasp venom envenomations would lead to multiple organ injury , in which, kidney dysfunction is the most common one .Several structures of kidney can be impaired following wasp stings .It has been reported that acute kidney injury following wasp envenomation enlists the following pathological findings :acute tubular necrosis , acute interstitial nephritis , acute cortical necrosis .The exact mechanism of acute kidney injury induced by wasp stings has not been clearly understood , the toxicity of wasp venom , inflammatory response , hypersensitivity and other factors are all responsible for the process of acute kidney injury induced by wasp venom .
