Effect of procalcitonin -guided treatment in the coalminer's pneumoconiosis with lower respiratory tract infections
Abstract：Objective To investigate the value of serum procalcitonin (PCT) on evaluating infection severity , therapeutic effect , length of therapy , reducing drug resistance of bacteria in the coalminer's pneumoconiosis with lower respiratory infection .Methods One hundred coalminer's pneumoconiosis patients with lower respiratory infection were randomly divided into the experimental group and control group with 50 cases in each group .In control group , white blood cell count , C -reactive protein (CRP), etiology detection, imaging signs were measured to guide antibiotic treatment .
