A review of scorpion sting

Abstract：Patients stung by are often send to emergency department in summer and fall.Some of those stung by severe toxicity scorpion or the elderly, infants and young children, and the poor resistance, can result in severe toxic reaction, or even died of respiratory failure.At present, there is lack of scorpion stung systemic study domestic, treatment experience is limited to sporadic cases, therefore, in this paper, the scorpion sting injury epidemiology, pathogenic mechanism, clinical manifestation, severity evaluation, treatment measures were summarized, in order to improve the awareness of the emergency clinician on the diagnosis and treatment of scorpion sting.
