Role of HMGB1 in inflammation regulation of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome
Abstract:As a late inflammatory factor, high mobility group protein B1 (HMGB1) participates in the occurrence and development of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome ( MODS) .HMGB1 binds to RAGE/TLRs receptor, and finally triggers series of signal transduction stimulating nuclear translocation of NF-κB for inflammation falls was the most acceptable mechanism. We make a review of HMGB1 in the regulation of inflammation of MODS, including the receptors of HMGB1 and the relationships between them.
