Research progress in defense factors associated with stress ulcer

Abstract：Critically ill patients complicated with stress ulcer are of high morbidity and mortality.The pathogenesis of stress ulcer is complex.In recent years, the molecular mechanism of stress ulcer and have been widely investigated and some defense factors have been revealed to be associated with stress ulcer, including factors associated with oxidative stress ( such as superoxide dismutase, hemeoxygenase -1, hydrogen sulfide, glutamate), signals and receptors associated with mucosa protection and repair ( such as cyclooxygenase -2, Toll like receptor, trefoil factor, growth factor), heat shock protein, hormone (calcitonin gene related peptide, glucagon like peptide-2).Here we make a review on the research progress of defense factors associated with stress ulcer.
