Abstract:Objective To investigate the knowledge and skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in clinical graduates. Methods CPR was performed according to the guidelines of 2010, and in the present work , the simulated men were firstly used in the test to assess the understand and master the basic theory of this course .The total 879 clinical graduates were divided into 3 groups by gender , length of schooling and hospital grade , and the scores were compared and analyzed .Results The average score of the CPR was 78.8 points. The scores achieved by the graduates were associated with gender and length of schooling, showing that the scores of schoolgirls were significantly higher than schoolboys (P <0.01). Moreover , the scores of graduates in seven -year medical educational system were obviously higher than those of five -year medical educational system (P <0.05).No significant differences of scores were observed when compared with the graduates in the differential grade hospital .Conclusion The basic theories and operational skills of CPR can be fully evaluated in clinical graduates by the tests .Meanwhile, the scores reflect some disadvantages of the teaching methods , which will provide information and guide lines for target-oriented teaching and improving clinical teaching quality in the future .
