Abstract:Currently, sepsis is becoming a serious medical problem worldwide. The incidence and mortality of sepsis have been increasing year by year , but the clinical treatment of sepsis did not achieve ideal outcome , because the pathophysiology of sepsis is very complicated and the exact pathogenesis has not been fully understood .In recent years , it has been found that redox imbalance , reduction in peroxisome proliferator -activated receptor activity , activation and release of complements , neural regulation disorders , immunosuppression involved in the pathogenesis of sepsis , which may help us to further understand sepsis .Here, this article will be a review of these new mechanisms .
