Change of blood rheological parameters in peri - operative periods in eideriy CHtD patients in non- cardiac surgery
Abstract:Objective To explore the change of blood rheological parameters and it' s influence to peri - operative cardiovascular events in peri - operative periods of elderly coronary heart disease patients. Methods With non - surgery elderly CHD patients at the stane periods as control, the whole blood viscosity and whole blood reduction viscosity were determined under three different shearing stress conditions ( 150s-1 ,60s- 1 and 10s- 1 )by NXE - 1 weissenberg wiscosimeter, plasma viscosity was tested under middle shearing stress condition, and the hematocrit was also determined by rourine method. Result Whole blood viscosjty and whole blood reduction viscosity was significantly increased during intraoperative and 24 hours after surgery, and gradually retumed to normal 72 hours after surgery. Hematocrit was in normal range except at the time point of 24 hours after surgery, and plasma viscosity is in normal range in all test time. Conclusions The peak of blood viscosity is at around 24 houra after surgery, and there is a decrease of 72 hour after surgery. Maybe, this is one of the important factor to the mechanism of perioperative ischemia and carcliovascular complications.
