Clinical research in reconstruction of post-operative cranial defect
Abstract：Objective To improve the method of reconstruction of cranialdefect with autografts of skull.Methods Thirty-eight regions were reconstructed with porous auto-skull flap or porous auto-skull flap mixed with BMP. Results Thirty-eight regions were treated. All cases have been closely followed up from 3 months to 2 years,no complications was found,the skull flap was adiaphoria, the hardness was normal,the results were satisfactory.The patients were examined with X-ray and CT,4 regions in group Ⅰ were founded reducing of density and some absorbed in the center.The others were fixed exactly and the neogenetic bone was founded.Conclusion The method is easy and safe,the operation time is shortened,the injury of the body is reduced,and the result is satisfactory,but some is absorbed in the center,the local application of BMP can avoid it,so that it is a good method of reconstruction of cranial defect with porous auto-skull petal mixed with BMP,and may be wildly used in general hospital.
