Abstract:Objective To explore the application effects of the doctor-nurse-patient collaborative model in postoperative rehabilitation for orthopedic patients. Methods A total of 100 patients who had undergone orthopedic surgery in our hospital over the past two years were randomly and equally divided into a control group and an experimental group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the experimental group was managed with the doctor-nurse-patient collaborative model, supplemented by smart device monitoring.Postoperative functional recovery, rehabilitation training compliance, pain levels, and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results All patients in both groups achieved primary wound healing without any severe postoperative complications.Complete follow-up was obtained for all enrolled patients. The early postoperative recovery in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group. The time to first ambulation was(2.77±0.63)days in the experimental group, which was significantly shorter than(3.11±0.54)days in the control group(P=0.005).The time to resume oral intake was(1.75±0.34)days in the experimental group, significantly shorter than(2.59±0.47)days in the control group(t=10.239,P<0.001).The total length of hospital stay was(11.87±2.53)days in the experimental group, significantly shorter than(15.70±3.79)days in the control group(t=5.943,P<0.001).The incidence of postoperative complications was 6.00%(3/50)in the experimental group and 22.00%(11/50)in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(χ2=5.316,P=0.021);at 3 months postoperatively, the total REAS score in the experimental group was(58.57±4.74),significantly higher than(53.01±4.21)in the control group(t=6.201,P<0.001).Regarding pain evaluation, the BPI score for"pain intensity"on postoperative day 3 was(5.42±1.43)in the experimental group, significantly lower than(6.94±1.67)in the control group(t=4.889,P<0.001).On postoperative day 7,the scores were(3.36±1.15)and(4.21±1.23),respectively(t=3.569,P=0.001),with statistically significant differences. In terms of postoperative quality of recovery, the QoR-15 total score at 3 months was significantly higher in the experimental group[(116.02±11.54)vs.(108.57±10.84);t=3.327,P=0.001].Conclusions The doctor-nurse-patient collaborative model combined with smart technology assistance can significantly optimize postoperative functional recovery in orthopedic patients, enhance rehabilitation compliance and quality of life, effectively alleviate pain, and provide an innovative approach for clinical rehabilitation nursing.
