Pelvic girdle compression band fixation for the treatment of sacroiliac joint dysfunction

Abstract：Objective To explore pelvic girdle compression band fixation in the diagnosis and treatment of sacroiliac joint dysfunction.Methods From Mar.1st,2023 to Sept.30,2023,42 patients diagnosed as sacroiliac joint dysfunction were treated with pelvic girdle compression band fixation.Before and after pelvic girdle compression band fixation,VAS score and the age of the patients were recorded and analyzed statistically.Results In 42 patients with sacroiliac joint disorder,there were significant differences in VAS scores before treatment and 20 minutes,1 week,1 month and one year after treatment(P<0.01).Conclusions Sacroiliac joint dysfunction is common in middle-aged and elderly patients and pelvic girdle compression band fixation could effectively relieve symptoms.
