Abstract:Objective To investigate the status of disease uncertainty and quality of life in patients with replantation of severed fingers, and to explore the correlation between disease uncertainty and quality of life. Methods A total of 118 patients with replantation of severed fingers admitted to Jinjiang Hospital from January 2023 to June 2024 were selected. The uncertainty in illness scale(MUTS-A)and the simple health survey scale(SF-36)were used to conduct a questionnaire survey to analyze the correlation between uncertainty in illness and quality of life. Results The total score of uncertainty in illness in patients with replantation of severed fingers was(89.35±13.33)points,which was at a moderate level. The scores of each dimension of quality of life were from(65.26±4.34)to(73.45±5.64).Pearson analysis showed that uncertainty in illness was negatively correlated with quality of life in patients with replantation of severed fingers(P<0.05).Each dimension of uncertainty in illness was negatively correlated with quality of life-physiological function, physiological function, general health, vitality, social function and mental health(P<0.05),while each dimension of uncertainty in illness was positively correlated with quality of life-body pain(P<0.05).Conclusions Patients with replantation of severed fingers have a moderate level of uncertainty in illness, and uncertainty in illness is significantly negatively correlated with quality of life.Clinically,it is necessary to actively intervene in the uncertainty in illness of patients with replantation of severed fingers to improve their quality of life.
