Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of minimally invasive therapy with bidirectional traction weight adjustment on functional recovery and prognosis of patients suffering from tibial plateau fracture with high energy injury. Methods From January 2021 September 2023,the clinical data of 60 cases of patients with Schatzker type Ⅴ and Ⅵ tibial plateau fracture with complete follow-up data in our Department of Orthopedics were analyzed.30 cases were included in the study group(heavy weight bidirectional traction+arthroscopic assisted reduction+percutaneous screw/limited incision small plate internal fixation),while control group(small weight bidirectional traction)included 30 cases.Compare the two groups'general indicators. The Hospital for Special Surgery(HSS)knee function score and the Honkonen-Jarvinen standard score one year after surgery were compared to evaluate the therapeutic effect and prognostic influence. Results There was no significant difference in age,BMI,bone mineral density, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative complications and etc.between the two groups. The HSS score of the study group(80.4±7.0)was significantly better than that of the control group(75.1±5.9).The Honkonen-Jarvinen scores of the study group were better than those of the control group in imaging[(79.2±5.4)%vs.(75.70±4.8%)],objective performance[(76.4±5.6)%vs.(73.2±4.4)%]and daily function excellence[(72.3±5.2)%vs.(69.3±4.8)%](P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with the control group, large weight bidirectional traction minimally invasive treatment for high energy tibial plateau fracture has better curative effect and joint function recovery.
