Abstract:Objective To investigate the effectiveness of a staged rehabilitation program in the postoperative rehabilitation of patients with tibial plateau fracture(TPF).Methods The 130 patients with TPF who were surgically treated in our hospital between March 2021 and March 2023 were selected for a randomized controlled,single-blind experiment. The patients were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method, with 65 cases in each group. The control group used conventional rehabilitation training programme and the observation group used stage-by-stage rehabilitation training programme.Knee mobility(ROM)was used to assess the patients'knee range of motion;Hospital for Special Surgery(HSS)score, knee injury and osteoarthritis outcome score(KOOS),Lysholm score and International Knee Documentation Committee(IKDC)score were used to assess the patients'knee function;activities of daily living(ADL)score and 36-item short form(SF-36)were used to assess the patients'quality of life;and the follow-up records were recorded.Patients'quality of life was assessed;and complications during follow-up were recorded. Results At 3M and 6M postoperatively, patients in the observation group had higher flexion than the control group(P<0.05)and lower extension than the control group(P<0.05);patients in the observation group had higher HSS,KOOS,Lysholm and IKDC scores than the control group(P<0.05);and patients in the observation group had higher ADL and SF-36 scores than the control group(P<0.05).The complication rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(9.2%vs.23.1%,P=0.032).Conclusions The staged rehabilitation training programme can effectively improve the postoperative rehabilitation of TPF patients and is suitable for clinical promotion.
