Discectomy with tranforaminal endoscope for lumbar intervetebral disc to open surgery in 3 cases:etiology and ;treatment

Abstract:Objective To identify the reasons of failed discectomy with transforaminal endoscope for lumbar intervertebral disc, and discuss the appropriate treatment. Methods A total of 80 cases underwent discectomy with transforaminal endoscope. Three cases of failed discectomy with transforaminal endoscope from June 2012 to August 2015 were analyzed to identify the reasons and describe the treatment. Results The reasons of failed discectomy were bleeding, pain, and intracranial hypertension. Conclusions To avoid its occurrence, the failure reasons need to be analyzed and appropriate treatment should be scheduled for clinical guidance.
