Abstract:Objective To extract, assess, and synthesize relevant evidences from domestic and international databases regarding the prevention and management of kinesiophobia in patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty(THA),providing evidence-based medical support for reducing patients'kinesiophobia levels and promoting their joint function recovery. Methods A comprehensive search was conducted for literature related to the prevention and management of kinesophobia in patients who performed THA,retrieved from major domestic and international biomedical literature databases.Types of the retrieved documents included guidelines, expert consensus, systematic reviews and meta-analyses,and clinical decision-making resources, and the time frame for the search was from January 1,2014,to March 30,2024.Two writers separately filtered, estimated the quality, and extracted and intergrated evidences from the final included literature. Results A total of 15 documents were included, comprising 2 guidelines,3 evidence summaries,4 Meta-analysis and 6 expert consensus statements. These sources provided 31 pieces of evidence centered around 6 aspects involving risk assessment, health education, pain intervention, psychological support, rehabilitation exercises, and discharge guidance.Among them, there were 15 A-level and 16 B-level recommendations. Conclusion The best evidence for the prevention and management of kineshobia in THA patients summarized in this study provides a reference for orthopedic practice, which can be applied and transferred by clinical healthcare professionals on the basis of comprehensive evaluation of the actual situation of patients.
