Abstract:Spinal gunshot wounds (GSWs) account for 13% to 21% of all spinal injuries in the United States and are a major cause of morbidity and mortality. This study conducted a multicenter retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 271 spinal gunshot wound patients treated at two urban level I trauma centers in the United States between December 2012 and July 2021, aiming to clarify the clinical characteristics, treatment methods, and prognosis of GSWs patients.
