Application scenarios and trends of digital twin technology in robot-assisted surgery

Abstract:Robotic-assisted surgery,distinguished by its superior accuracy,remarkable stability,and reduced invasiveness,has established itself as a principal developmental direction in precision surgery.Emerging technologies epitomized by digital twin systems offer novel methodologies for personalized therapeutic approaches,pathological modeling,and medical device refinement,substantially advancing precision medicine.In this paper,specifically focus on digital twin technology's capacity for customized innovation and procedural optimization in robotic-assisted interventions,we synthesize current applications across medical domains with particular emphasis on surgical robotics,explore relevant implementation contexts within robot-assisted surgical procedures,and project future trajectories in this interdisciplinary field.
