Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of pre-rehabilitation nursing based on iceberg theory on psychological state, nutritional status and hip joint function of elderly patients with total hip arthroplasty(THA).Methods A total of 60 elderly patients with primary THA admitted to Binzhou Central Hospital from June 2023 to June 2024 were selected as research objects.According to the random number table, they were divided into two groups, the control group(n=30)and the observation group(n=30).Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention, and patients in the observation group were given pre-rehabilitation nursing intervention based on iceberg theory. The psychological state, nutritional status as well as hip joint function of the two groups before the intervention and after the surgery were compared. Results The hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS)score of the observation group at 3,7 days after the surgery was(6.30±2.31)and(3.53±1.68)points respectively, which were improved significantly compared with the HADS score before the intervention[(9.50±4.01)points],and the HADS score after the surgery in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).At 3,7 d postoperatively, the hemoglobin levels and the joint function socres of the patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, there were statistical differences between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion For elderly patients who performed THA,the pre-rehabilitation nursing based on iceberg theory can reduce the emotions of anxiety and depression, improve the nutritional status and accelerate the recovery of hip joint function.
