Abstract:Objective To study the applicable effect of quality control circle on reducing the incidence of nausea and vomiting caused by high-dose chemotherapy for patients with malignant bone tumors. Methods A total of 112 patients with malignant bone tumors treated with high-dose chemotherapy from March to August 2022 were selected as the research subjects.Using the quasi-experimental research method of non-contemporaneous controlled study design, patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 56 cases in each group.Patients in control group received routine nursing, while the observation group implemented quality control circle activities on the basis of routine nursing. The incidence of nausea and vomiting caused by over-dose chemotherapy as well as chemotherapy compliance, life of quality of patients and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of nausea and vomiting after high-dose chemotherapy in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, rate of patients'chemotherapy compliance, score of 36-item short form of health survey scale, and nursing satisfaction of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For malignant bone tumor patients who undergoing high-dose chemotherapy, the use of quality control circle activities could effectively reduce the incidence of nausea and vomiting, improve patients'chemotherapy compliance and quality of life, and elevate nursing satisfaction.
