Current status and trend analysis of bone tumor teaching research based on bibliometrics and visualization techniques

Abstract:Objective To analyze the status quo of research on bone tumor teaching in China,reveal the dynamic change and development trend,and provide ideas and basis for domestic bone tumor teaching research by using bibliometrics and visualization techniques. Methods The articles related to bone tumor teaching in CNKI database were searched,the knowledge map was drawn by a scientometrics tool,CiteSpace V,and keyword co-occurrence analysis,cluster analysis and emergence analysis were carried out. Results The first related article was published in 1997,and a total of 63 related articles were publicated during 27 years,which showing a slowly upward trend in number of papers. Zhejiang,Sichuan,Shaanxi and Shandong provinces had much more published literature and were in the leading position of research,while the cooperations among different regions,institutions and authors were relatively small. Research hotspot analysis indicated that Chinese scholars focused on the teaching techniques,teaching methods,teaching objects and treatment ideas in bone tumor field;Since 2018,high-burstness keywords had been found mainly including "case-based teaching","mixed reality","standardized residents training","precise surgery" and so on. Conclusions The teaching research of bone tumor in China is still in its infancy. Strengthening academic cooperation among different regions and different institutions is an important method to promote bone tumor teaching research development in the future. At present,case teaching,mixed reality and other teaching methods are the most extensive and in-depth research contents in our contry,but the current research is still at the primary stage,so it needs medical bone tumor trainers' continuous attentions and constant exploring.
