Abstract:Glenoid fractures are relatively rare and often require open reduction and internal fixation due to their involvement of the articular surface. There are multiple surgical approaches available, majorly including anterior, posterior, axillary and acromial approaches. Currently, there is no consensus on the optimal surgical approaches for different types of glenoid fractures. This article provides a review of the research progress on surgical approaches for glenoid fractures, aiming to offer reference guidance for the treatment of such fractures.
