Role of TGF-β,BMP-2,VEGF,and PDGF in fracture healing

Abstract：Fracture delayed union and non-union is a major problem to be solved clinically,and bone healing process has been proved to be closely related to growth factors.The possible mechanisms,influencing factors and therapeutic applications of the active growth factors involved in fracture healing process such as transforming growth factor-β,bone morphogenetic protein-2,vascular endothelial growth factor and platelet-derived growth factor were reviewed in this paper,so as to provide references for clinical use.
