Abstract:Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury is common in clinical practice, the relative evaluation of kinematics and dynamics is helpful to understand ACL injury more objectively and comprehensively, and to provide reliable references for the choice of diagnosis and treatment strategy. With the development of modern measurement techniques, assessment of kinematics and dynamics of ACL injury has improved from static and 2-dimensional to dynamic and 3 dimensional stages. In this paper, the development, current researches, advantages and disadvantages of the assessment methods based on optical capture and radiological principles, manual test, robot-assisted analysis and finite element analysis were reviewed.
