The realistic dilemma and system strategies of public participation in health impact assessment in China

Abstract：The public is an important responsible subject of health impact assessment,and the effectiveness of the public participation in health impact assessment determines the scientificity and rationality of health impact assessment results to a certain extent.At present,health impact assessment system is gradually being established in China,but public participation in health impact assessment is still in a weakened state.By analyzing the current situation of public participation in health impact assessments both domestically and internationally,elaborating on the realistic difficulties faced by public participation in health impact assessments in China,suggestions are proposed to promote public participation in health impact assessments in China,from the aspects of system establishment,information disclosure,resource sharing,and channel expansion.
