Statistical analysis on scientific papers in National Center for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention,Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention from 2018 to 2023

Abstract：Objective To review and analyze the scientific papers issued by National Center for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention(NCAIDS),Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention,from 2018 to 2023,in order to improve the level of scientific research management and enhance the abilities of scientific research.Methods Using biblio-metrology to statistically analyze the number of publications,periodical distribution,impact factors,academic influence and research spotlight of NCAIDS from 2018 to 2023.Results There were 482 scientific papers published by NCAIDS from 2018 to 2023,including 60.8％Chinese papers and 39.2％English papers.The total number of citations was 3 558,and the average number of citations was 9.6.The general trend of the publications was first decreasing and then increasing.The papers were published by NCAIDS in 105 journals from 2018 to 2023,with an average of 4.6 papers per journal.From the publications,research spotlights were mainly around in key population,key intervention technology and viral molecules research.Conclusions There are high impact and quantity in the publications from NCAIDS researchers.It suggests the researchers should do further study,expand international influence,solve the the difficult problems in the field and try to leading the field research spotlight.
