Expert consensus on better implementing the Healthy China strategy by universities and research institutions(2024)

Abstract：Universities and research institutions serve as vital carrier for undertaking the"Healthy China Strategy"to enhance and improve health education,scientific research and policy consultation services.Conducting such activities is of great significance to advancing the construction of Healthy China.The Expert Consensus on Better Implementing the Healthy China Strategy by Universities and Research Institutions(2024)is initiated by the Health Reform and Development Center/Health and Reform Policy Laboratory,Renmin University of China,jointly drafted by members of the Scientific Research Federation for Healthy China in collaboration with several experts from related fields across the country,with the Committee of Proactive Health of China Association for Standardization providing technical support.It outlines 11 expert common views from four aspects:the significance of universities and research institutions undertaking the"Healthy China Strategy"to conduct health education,scientific research and policy consultation services;health education;health-related scientific research;health policy consultation.Based on those,four action strategies for implementing this expert consensus are proposed.
