Strategies for the construction of a comprehensive health education system for the elderly

Abstract:Health education for the elderly is of great significance in improving their health level and promoting the construction of a healthy China.The current problems in health education among the elderly mainly focus on the inconsistent quality of informational content,lack of practicality,limited channels and forms of dissemination,insufficient interactivity and an imbalance between authority and professionalism in the content.Based on this,systematically constructing a three-dimensional,multi-directional,and comprehensive health education system for the elderly population:the health education content combines knowledge and authority,practicality and personalization,and combines traditional Chinese medicine health preservation concepts with modern health concepts.Giving full play to the advantages of comprehensive health education in the form of"one room-two interactions-four directions".Integrating various popular health education channels,integrating traditional and new media channels,collaborating across borders to expand upstream channels,breaking down barriers between upstream and downstream channels,and continuously following up and provide feedback.This system provides practical and feasible strategies and methods to address the current health issues of the elderly population.
