Abstract：In the new situation of the increasing number of global public health emergencies,the problems of preventive medicine students in the practice process are becoming more and more prominent,mainly existing problems such as insufficient attention to specialty practice,short practice time,low emergency response ability,and not close connection between theory and practice.Through analyzing the causes of problems in the practice of preventive medicine students and the development direction of public health talents in the future,it puts forward multiple measures such as student education and teaching management,extending professional practice time,establishing and perfecting practical teaching effects,establishing assessment indicators and quality evaluation systems for learning quality,and strengthening practical teaching through the linkage between universities and bases.At the same time,the process guidance highlights the"6 details",focuses on enhancing the quality and practical effect of specialty practice,and trains public health professionals who meet the development needs of the new situation.
