Abstract:Objective To understand the resilience in life and influencing factors of residents during the pandemic events, and provide scientific basis for implementing strategies to enhance resilience in life of residents. Methods Using data from the 2021 China Comprehensive Social Survey,a total of 7 997 residents samples were analyzed.Chi-square tests were used for univariate analysis, and multivariate logistic regression was used for multifactor analysis of resilience in life of resident. Results There were 850(10.63%)residents with Level 1 resilience;1 546(19.33%)residents with Level 2 resilience;4 992(62.42%)residents with Level 3 resilience;532(6.65%)residents with level 4 resilience;77(0.96%)residents with Level 5 resilience.Residents with younger age, lower educational attainment, religious beliefs, unmarried status, renting or employer-owned housing, and those work condition were affected by pandemic exhibited lower levels of resilience in life.Residents living in non-rented or not employer-owned housing and those work were unaffected by pandemic showed higher levels of resilience in life, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Resilience in life of residents during pandemic events is the result of multiple factors interacting.Enhancing resilience in life of residents should consider targeted measures addressing these factors, enabling residents to better cope with unforeseen risks and challenges.
