Abstract：In today's era of information diversity and digital explosion,modern digital technologies such as the Internet of Things,big data,artificial intelligence,and cloud computing rely on and complement each other,jointly promoting China's digital construction.Global pandemic of the COVID-19 infection has accelerated the application and development of digital technologies in the field of public health,and also made public health data sources more extensive and diversified data structures.After reviewing the development process of public health informatization at home and abroad,it is found that cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things,remote sensing technology,5G communication technology,big data,artificial intelligence and cloud computing have been effectively applied in many public health fields such as infectious disease monitoring,prediction and early warning,health emergency response,chronic disease and immunization planning management,food safety management,personnel training,and health education,and many achievements have been achieved.Although the application of digital technology in the field of public health is facing new challenges,there is no doubt that the digital development of public health has become an inevitable direction in the future.
