Investigation and analysis of laboratory capacity building of county/district CDC in Anshun City

Abstract：Objective To understand the current situation of laboratory capacity building of county/district Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC)in Anshun,and to provide reference for the reform of laboratory capacity building of CDC.Methods The laboratory capacity building of CDC in 6 counties/districts was investigated,the data were summarized and established by Excel 2013,and were analyzed by descriptive method.Results The laboratory area reached the standard rate of 66.7％.The average allocation rates of A,B and C types of equipment were 65.3％,61.0％and 27.0％respectively.The average development rates of class A and B detection capability were 44.5％and 19.9％,respectively.The average allocation rates of basic and recommended configurations were 46.6％and 22.8％,respectively.The average rates of required and recommended testing capability were 32.4％and 28.2％,respectively.There were statistically significant differences between the allocation rate of class A and B equipment,the development rate of Class B detection capability,the allocation rate of basic configuration equipment,and the development rate of required and recommended detection capability(P＜0.05).Conclusion There is a large gap between the laboratory capacity building of CDCs in each county/district and the national and provincial requirements,and the construction of site area,human resources,equipment configuration and detection capacity should be further strengthened.
