Abstract:Objective To evaluate the coordinated development of medical resource allocation and service utilization in time and space in township health centers in China, and to study their synergistic development characteristics in time and space. Methods The entropy method and relative development model were used to analyze the relevant data of township health centers nationwide from 2017 to 2021.Results The overall trend of medical resource allocation and service utilization in township health centers in China tended to be unbalanced. From 2017 to 2021,the coupling coordination index of two factors in township health centers nationwide decreased from 0.30 to 0.27.In 2021,out of the 29 provinces, there were still 26 provinces in an unbalanced state, with 18 provinces having a lagging distribution of medical resources compared to service utilization. In contrast, the central region showed stronger coordinated development and coupling advantages. Conclusion In order to achieve coordinated development of resource allocation and service utilization,it is necessary to reasonably allocate medical resources according to actual conditions, optimize supply-demand balance, improve service efficiency, and further enhance the coupled development of medical resources and services.
