The construction of an evaluation index system for medical students'medical science popularization ability based on Delphi method

Abstract：Objective To construct an index system for evaluating medical students'science popularization ability to provide references for scientific evaluation and cultivation of medical students'medical science popularization ability.Methods Combined with the literature review and semi-structured interviews,the index framework was initially established,and then the Delphi method was used to evaluate the importance of each index and to confirm the selection,and finally the index system for evaluating medical students'competence in science popularization was constructed.Results The two rounds of consultation questionnaires had a 100％return rate,with expert authority coefficients of 0.963 and 0.968 respectively.43 evaluation indicators that met the requirements were finally screened,corresponding to the evaluation of 7 parts of medical students'science popularization cognition,science popularization creation ability,science popularization dissemination ability,communication and expression ability,professional values and personality characteristics,quality and quantity of science popularization work,effective evaluation and feedback.The evaluation system of indicators Cronbach's a coefficient is 0.923,the KMO value is 0.965,and the cumulative variance contribution rate of the common factor is 80.746％.Conclusion The evaluation index system constructed has good coordination,high motivation of experts and more focused opinions,which can provide a reference basis for the evaluation and monitoring of medical students'scientific competence.
