Knowledge mapping analysis of biosafety research in China

Abstract：Objective To review and analyze the process of biosafety research in China,and to provide reference for further scientific research and practice.Methods By using the method of bibliometrics and CiteSpace visualization tool,the cooperative network analysis of institutions and authors,the co-occurrence and cluster analysis of high-frequency keywords,the time zone map of keywords and the detection and analysis of burst words were carried out on 2 571 articles collected in CNKI.Results The annual number of publications showed an increasing trend,and the relevant research institutions basically formed a research cluster.The author's cooperation density(D=0.004 5)was greater than the institution's cooperation density(D=0.001 3).Scholars have carried out theoretical and practical explorations on biosafety in the narrow and broad senses.The research frontiers include national security,ecological civilization,bioeconomy,gene editing and so on.Conclusion Significant progress has been made in biosafety research in China,which is closely related to the changes in national conditions.However,the cross-agency cooperation between scholars needs to be strengthened.Attention should be paid to the training of talents in biosafety management,and opportunities should be seized to further improve the level of biosafety management and governance in China.
