Visualization analysis of emergency prevention and control of emerging infectious diseases based on mapping knowledge domain

Abstract:Objective To understand the number of articles,classic literature,research hotspots and changing trends in the field of emergency prevention and control strategies of international emerging infectious disease and analyze from the perspective of bibliometrics.Methods The CiteSpace 5.7.R1 Software was used to visually analyze all the relevant literature on the emergency prevention and control strategy research of emerging infectious diseases included in the Web of Science core collection database from 2000 to 2020.Results The amount of articles published and the frequency of citations showed an overall upward trend with the year of publication.The amount of articles published and the frequency of citations reached a peak in 2020(262 articles were published and 9 480 citations).The development and treatment of antiviral drug,vaccine development and vaccination,measures of social isolation,vector control,determinants of key policy,strengthening of restrictions on the free movement of population,attention to the epidemic early warning and monitoring,epidemiological investigation were the core content of prevention and control.Conclusion Research on emergency prevention and control strategies for newly emerging infectious diseases has attracted increasing attention from the international community.Prevention and control of Zika virus and the COVID-19 pandemic,response strategy of public health emergency,strengthening virulence factor detection are all recent research hotspots,optimization of emergency prevention and control strategies and effect evaluation are important tasks at present.
